I got out of the house yesterday (YAY) that didn't involve going to the doctor's. We were given gift certificates for Red Lobster and I felt like attempting to go out. It's the first time since the accident. I was totally wiped out and hurting but it was worth it psychologically. We stopped at the grocery store for laundry detergent on the way home. They had primroses on sale 3/$5 so Lauren brought me some. I put their cheery pots on top of the TV where I can see them from the recliner.
I haven't been able to go to church since before Christmas. This morning I decided I wanted to go as I could ride with Lauren (he often has to be there early/stay late for usher stuff) so if I needed to we could leave early. I'm paying for it pain-wise now but my spirit needed it. I'm wearing a thrifted SagHarbor sweater, thrifted LaneBryant skirt, thrifted LifeStride booties and my fantabulous petrified rhinestoned vintage seahorse brooch and earrings. They caused quite a sensation!!
Here's a picture of my vintage display tree done up for winter with artist trading cards and some repro victorian scrap art.
I'm linking up with all of the glorious ladies over at Patti's for Visible Monday, Monday Bloom, and Tres Chic Style Bits this week as I've been visible in public!!!
Everyone have a wonderful beginning to your week and I'll be back later in the week!!

I love that scarf in the first pic! You look great--hope you are feeling better.
When we had a local tragedy, I couldnt blog--it just took so much out of me. Best to you~

Gracie *has* added a few ounces - they look good on her! Both doggies are adorable. And you look wonderful too, so glad you got out a few times. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday, xoxo.
Oh, primroses - they always give a little bit of hope for better weather, don't they? And I love your bright primrose colors with that sweater and scarf. I can see springtime in your smile! :) Glad to hear you're feeling a little more mobile.
Tamera, you look so gorgeous in purple...wear it often! Stay warm and have a great week!
YAY you!
I'm so glad you got to go out this week! I can truly appreciate having to spend days at home with no way to go anywhere so I know how great it is to go someplace, even if you're not feeling 100%.
Stay warm and take care of your primroses ;-)
Alicia
Where did you get that vintage display tree? I LOVE it! I'm sure you thrifted it.
So happy to hear you managed to get outside.
I love primroses. They remind me of Spring which seems like it doesn't even exist anymore.
I can see in your photobomb that you and your puppy match! LOL
Those seahorses are the best.
Hope your recovery continues.
bisous

I joked in my lest post on Friday that the weather down south has been so crazy that it would probably be in the 70's this week. Guess what? Weather Channel says 74 for tomorrow!!!!!!!
I love both of your outfits, but that Gracie, oh my, she just steals the show! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
I'm so happy that you got out. Never has laundry detergent-shopping sounded so glorious. What a lift to the spirits - I hope the payback is fleeting.
You look fantastic in your aubergine? sweater and wild scarf with the cutest photobomber ever. Don't worry, we are safe in our homes with our caring, cuddly loved ones.
Ahh, you got out of the house, that's good! Hope the resulting pain has subsided a little... And you look so lovely in purple, such a great colour on you, Tamera.
I hadn't heard the news about the shooting in your state, how shocking. Somehow these events seem even more distressing when they are so close to home, makes it all so much more personal.
Hope your health situation improves soon. Although cosying up with your adorable doggies is good in the meantime! xxx
so happy for you that you got out of the house -You just go coucou when stuck in so long - The wheater does not help, hey? same here crazy cold
I love your purple sweater, that color is amazing on you Tamera!
I have seen your doggy on Facebook, so cute!

You are looking way too pretty for a gimpy lady! Seriously, you look beautiful in your church outfit, but best in your rich blue and scarf. Very casual chic.
So glad you're getting out and about. I turn into a mushroom if I don't get out and about pretty often, and know you were ready!
Stay warm and keep healing, pretty lady.
It's warmer up here in Canada, I swear! Stay warm, Tamera, and give those furry fam lots of love.
Happy to hear you got out! You look divine in purple my dear!
Love to see you many talents on display. Hope that you are feeling better soon and that your pain resolves. But as we can all see, you maintain your fabulous sense of humor despite your circumstances. Your smile is as bright as a primrose!
